Eight years old lighting creation studio, les fourmis bleues were born on the ideas to design different lighting sources, focused on imagination, poetry, emotion and surprise… and to act for a sustainable development by the exclusive use of both natural, recycled or renewable materials and energy saving / high lifetime components like LED or fluo-compact lamps. Single parts or small series, all of our lightings are hand made, signature of a human scale design, giving the priority to the rare object and to make you dream. The materials and the shapes borrow from nature, plant or organic, its accumulations, the mystery of its form and its unlimited creation capacity. As luminous sculptures, our lightings aim to create an atmosphere by the combination of their shape and the shadow generated. Moreover, the use of such light materials makes it possible to carry out lightings of almost unbounded size…
